Disconnect from the world and immerse yourself in a relaxing massage while listening to the waves of the sea and Ocean breezes flowing through the rain forest trees. While we do not have a full spa facility at Latitude 10, we can arrange for professional therapists for wellness treatments and private Yoga lessons within few hours’ or even minutes’ notice. We believe health is a natural state of being. We recognize in every one of us an innate capacity for well-being. When unbalanced energy is blocked, pain and disease appears.
Bodywork changes the possibilities of well-being and healing. We apply techniques that relieve pain, free and balance energy, provide deep relaxation and increase movement. At Latitude 10, you have access to a wide variety of spa and wellness services. We offer those treatments through our partners at Gaia Bodywork & Wellness in our treatment room located in the main building, in the privacy of your bungalow or beachfront… Treatments are available Monday through Sunday from 7 am to 6 pm and can be set up in a matter of a couple of hours, sometimes just minutes. The treatment can be charged to your hotel bill. What guests like about the wellness treatments at Latitude 10 is that is reasonably priced, high-quality and professional and so unique. Our chlorine free pool is located about 50 meters from the beach where you can dip in the Ocean and the pool within seconds. After a day full of adventures and activities, it is the perfect place to chill and relax. A great way to explore the area around Latitude 10 is to take us up on our offer to lend you our city bikes and take a ride into the trendy little town of Santa Teresa. You will find a young surfer and yoga crowd hanging out in the many little roadside restaurants and bars.
The layout was designed in a way that no trees had to be cut down during the construction, for this reason a dense canopy covers the property. At night, guests were to explore the grounds with wooden torches as lighting. Villas were to be dimly lit with candles and lamps at night and completely open during the day. Cobble stone pathways were to intertwine and connect each villa until finally merging and revealing the ultimate surprise: the spectacular clubhouse, with the teal swimming pool and crystal ocean in the background. Cayuga Sustainable Hospitality, a local hotel management company managing upscale sustainable resorts and lodges, have been entrusted to help them with the administration of their hotel. All Cayuga managed properties combine quality with sustainability and focus on the conservation of the local environment and well being of the local communities.
